Job Description:
Create and maintain productive relationships with internal and external clients by providing advice and assistance. Create understanding of the ‘real’ versus ‘perceived’ need through experience and expertise while complying with company policies, legislation and regulations
Job Responsibilities:
- Determine the required time to complete the testing
- Assist with the investigation of possible system bugs
- Document and present bug investigation findings, and make recommendations
- Perform Regression testing on area of change to ensure current processes are still in place
- Document the desired test outcomes
- Communicate failed test results to the relevant stakeholders, and monitor the change via the change management process to retest as soon as the change is ready for retesting.
- Document the Test plan/Test strategy in order to achieve the following :
- Present the test results to the Business Analyst/ Business Requestor for sign-off
- Promote effective communication amongst the team and with other departments
- Comply with the procedures laid down within the Payments Department
- Obtain change requirements via specs, change requests, and Implementation plans
- Facilitate testing in conjunction with other test teams and Business Analysts
- Identify possible new enhancements which could improve productivity and/or profitability
- Perform testing, and document all results in the agreed templates
- Identify what is required in order to test the specific change – extrapolate test requirements from other sources, BRD; FRS.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / degree and software testing certification
- 3 years working experience related to banking or payments systems of which 2 years must be in a Test Analyst role
