Job Description:
Accountable for ensuring the Business Cutover Plans full and complete, delivered and executed on time and in full for a successful Go Live. Curates the Business facing Hypercare plan and acts as a key POC. Leads a team of Cutover&Hypercare leads to manage the multiple concurrent Go Lives
Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate the cutover plan to all stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment
- Accountable for the overall management of the Business Cutover Plans
- Accountable to represent the Business Cutover readiness at key governance forums not limited to Sub- Programme Boards, BRGs and Go No Go
- Accountable to manage Business Cutover risks and issues, propose mitigating actions and escalate as needed
- Engages Product Directors, BPMs, and BPOs to ensure that Cutover and Hypercare plans are robust aligned with other resourcing or other priorities and conflicts
- Liaises with Cutover Managers in other Portfolios to surface and mitigate conflicts or clashes
- Oversees execution of the cutover plans at a Portfolio level identifying mitigation plans for risks and issues highlighted by the Cutover leads or other stakeholders
- Drives inputs to the Business Cutover plan for continuous improvement and ensure a consistent methodology
- Accountable for continuous improvement to the Business Cutover Process through application of Lessons Learnt from each cutover
- Accountable to ensure that Business Cutover is represented in and participates in Cutover Checkpoints
- Manages and coordinates a team of Business Cutover& Hypercare Leads across multiple concurrent Go Lives in a Portfolio
- Collaborates with the BPOs, Product Directors and Technical Cutover leads to manage risks, time and quality to ensure the functional cutover is both efficient and effective
- Acts as the Business Cutover representative in the planning of the Technical Cutover and Data Migration Plans, identifying risks and issues
Job Requirements:
- Formal or informal experience of running projects and/or managing critical paths and deadlines
- A current leader or manager who can demonstrate diverse and broad experience as well as knowledge of the business processes related to the portfolio they will support or can demonstrate the ability to upskill and learn at pace
- Experience in change management delivery (formal or informal)
- Experience in managing, leading, and working in cross-functional teams
- Can demonstrate having trained, supported, and led teams thru new process adoption
- A good commercial understanding of business IT systems and interdependencies
- A strong communicator, able to influence and challenge in a constructive way
- Demonstrates both a structured and detailed approach
- Demonstrable ability and experience of managing and influencing in a matrix structure, upwards, across and downwards
- Able to communicate in a way that builds trust and confidence amongst peers and senior stakeholders
- (Ideally) coming from the Business/commercial teams with experience relevant to the Portfolio they will support
- Demonstrable Presentation Skills
