Job Description:

An Altron Karabina Human Capital Administrator is responsible for providing effective support and human capital and compensation administration services for the achievement of the People Operations operational imperatives through sound application of human capital management principles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for and ensure Altron Karabina payroll is 100% accurate
  • Assist with documentation for bid and tender responses in relation to BBBEE
  • Ensure all communication and exchange of information is done in accordance with local legislation, including but not limited to, Basic Conditions of Employment Action, Labour
  • Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, Protection of Personal Information Act
  • Complete the annual Employment Equity report in accordance with legislative requirements, meeting deadlines timeously
  • Support the BBBEE audit process by collating all relevant documentation
  • Be the go to person for BBBEE matters – being directly involved in ensuring that all initiatives are recorded in the BBBEE report and that we maintain our BBBEE rating of 1
  • Ensure Altron Group Payroll deadlines are adhered to in terms of providing monthly payroll input
  • Complete the HC pillars for BBBEE monthly reporting accurately, meeting deadlines timeously
  • Supply inputs and check final reports and payslips before payroll is processed and payslips released to employees

Job Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 -2 years Experience in preparing payroll input and checking payroll for correctness and resolving payroll queries
  • Must have at least 1 – 2 years HR/ Human Capital Administration
  • Must have a diploma in Human Resources, Administration, Psychology / Industrial Psychology
