Job Description:
Ameren Missouri is part of St. Louis-based Ameren Corporation, generating almost 10,200 megawatts and serving 1.2 million electric customers in Missouri, including 130,000 natural gas customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Under direct, but not constant supervision, working a rotating or day shift schedule, as required.
- To do such work in connection with operating, construction, repair, and maintenance of generating station property, including use of electrical and air powered tools; operating sump pumps; working at times on jobs involving scaffolding and platform work; the use of hoisting and rigging methods; and similar and less skilled work as assigned.
- Performs a variety of general labor and cleaning in and around a power generating station on power plant equipment in operating areas and shops.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and successfully complete the EEI General Power Plant Battery aptitude test.
