Job Description:
The role is a key to improving how ASOS deliver software in a secure, efficient & cost-effective manner will require you to be an integral part of the development teams that you are working with. You should always be looking to improve your area, never settling for the status quo.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the engineering and DevOps communities at ASOS to drive forward better ways of working and efficient use of existing services
- Azure services
- Working hands on with teams when required to support software delivery
- Coaching and mentoring engineering teams on subjects such as DevOps or use of Azure services
- Prototyping of new technologies and tools to improve how ASOS delivers software
- Analyse CI/CD tooling and Azure resources and propose ways to further improve e.g. security or costs
- Ensure teams can easily self-serve the following:
- Operating shared infrastructure that supports ASOS’s systems
- CI/CD pipelines
- Ensuring CI/CD governance and best practice is adhered to
Job Requirements:
- Containerization
- Windows & Linux based skill set
- Source control systems e.g. Git
- Strong experience of CI/CD tools e.g. Azure Pipelines, Octopus Deploy, TeamCity
- Knowledge of Azure services, networking and security
- Configuration systems e.g. DSC, Ansible
- Scripting skills e.g. PowerShell
