Job Description:
The UEKM (User Education & Knowledge Management (UEKM) team is a workstream within the Digital Workplace -Solutions & Control – Release, Standards & Risk Management sub-chapter, within the DW (Digital Workplace) Service Management & Control chapter.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across Digital Workplace to ensure awareness of ongoing activities and the impact on user-facing guidance to understand potential overlap that could impact the user experience
- Partner with members in Technology Platforms for better understanding of products and services to shape messaging, drive adoption and aid with training and education
- Evolve the delivery methods for user-facing technology guidance. Interactive content, videos, etc.
- Consolidate weekly highlights by creating and maintaining newsletters
- Drive successful product adoption by hosting webinars, like ‘Ask Me Anything’ sessions
- User Education and training
- Maintain cross impact on all material as products change
- Beyond a user – Applying the digital user perspective, but with a domain expert’s knowledge
- Collaborate with the Business Relationship Management team by taking Technology Platform initiatives and communicating it to the business partners
- Partner with domain experts and Product Owners to create user- guides, ‘cheat sheets’, standard methodologies and other learning resources for employees
- Strategize communication plans by knowing when to bundle initiatives with a common theme
- Partner with product owners to build out impactful technical guidance for support functions
- Actively use and learn Digital Workplace technology to have gained a high-level understanding of the tools available, their functionality and any standard methodologies to apply. All to help guide users properly
- Apply governance across existing user-facing material to ensure content it up to date, which i. Involves regular connectivity with product owners to help review content
- Formulate different ways to communicate – e.g., Podcast or “Tech Talk”
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of different options of compute options – Laptop, Thick/Thin Client and iPhone/iPad, as well as how they connect to different peripherals and network connections
- End-user/business side interaction
- User persona targeting for impactful technology guidance
- Master of different modes of communication
- Basic understanding of cloud storage and SaaS products; M365
- Understanding different Operating Systems – Win10, macOS and iOS
- Ability to take technical jargon and make it user-friendly
- Willing to present and be comfortable with small-to-large medium scale webinars or in-person training
- Understanding and natural curiosity of end-user computing products, especially in the following areas:
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent proven track record with clients in a Financial environment is a plus but not necessary
- Basic understanding of cyber security
- Ability to communicate effectively with domain experts
- Excellent time management skills
