Job Description:

As a candidate for this role you’ll understand the benefits of process automation to enable user efficiency, the importance of well-governed solution development, and how to balance these needs to produce easy-to-use software.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a wide range of internal teams to define their needs and prioritise delivery of those that add most value
• Integrate analytical thinking into design and development, building metrics to measure the benefits delivered by our solutions
• Build, test, support and maintain a range of internal facing software products and solutions that automate Business processes
• Use data to transform the way we work, always looking at how we can continually grow
• Be an advocate for governance, documentation and process, ensuring that everything we build meets our high standards whilst providing a frictionless user experience
• Make recommendations to stakeholders and drive a consensus of agreement for your solutions. You’ll also be great at keeping them in the loop

Job Requirements:

• You have experience of identifying business opportunities and translating them into technology solutions
• An ability to capture process requirements in order to rapidly refine a solution
• You bring a user focussed mindset
• A passion for software engineering and a track record of delivering solutions in an efficient and maintainable manner
• You’re a pragmatic decision maker, comfortable balancing competing demands to deliver Business value
• You are an effective communicator, passionate about collaborating with technically minded users and engineers, but you can also translate and understand the requirements of non-technical stakeholders
• You work well with diverse teams, and are great at managing your stakeholder relationships – you also break down jargon to fit your audience needs
• Any knowledge of G Suite, Google App Script, Excel programming and Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) would be desirable (not essential)
• Hands on development experience in C#
