Job Description:

In this newly created Finance Analyst role you’ll be responsible for all month end activity for the Tech business area as well as supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner for Tech with reporting, Outlook, Budget, ad hoc analysis and requests.

You’ll have plenty of opportunity to interact with a wide range of business stakeholders up to a senior level and work closely with them on both business as usual and ad hoc activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Using multiple systems and applications relevant to the required outputs of the role (e.g. OneStream, GSuite, Microsoft Office)
• Owning, maintaining and developing accurate journal workbooks
• Supporting the business in the completion of month end activity (e.g., journals, reporting and commentary)
• Investigating new technologies and tools and supporting and driving process improvement work streams for the benefit of the FP&A Cost team and wider FP&A team
• Working with team members to feed into monthly financials review (MFR) meetings
• Using business knowledge to enable work to be focused on finance priorities
• Collaborating across finance teams to deliver business outcomes together

Job Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills e.g. working in gray space, deep dives on queries, accuracy, spotting errors and asking the right questions
• Continuous improvement and change agility mindset
• Ideally part qualified accountant or working towards a recognised accounting qualification
• Working collaboratively within and outside Finance, achieving together cross-functionally
• Ability to coordinate a complex set of inputs with different drivers, timelines and priorities and bring it together in a story
• Functional knowledge of accounting principles (e.g. P&L, budget & forecast etc.)
