Job Description:
As part of the larger Operational Risk Management (ORM) organization, you will work with talented associates to provide oversight and effective challenge to ensure that operational risk is well managed. You’ll also bring your unique perspective and experiences to help us be rigorous, curious and creative.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working across operational risk management areas in the Second Line of Defense to ensure they are well managed and fully executing within the Risk Management Framework
- Supporting each Second Line of Defense group by recognizing they have individual needs/perspective, while influencing them to do what is needed to support the broader risk management framework
- Analyzing data and information, leveraging that as input to effectively challenge practices and inform senior leaders where heightened risk may exist
- Providing consulting to resources across the Second Line of Defense, ensuring our partners understand governance related requirements and have access to best practices and common approaches to enable efficient as well as effective adherence
- Creating collaborative environments between other risk teams and various partner groups to create an integrated and seamless risk experience for the business (help drive towards clear and consistent practices across the Enterprise)
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years delivering executive level reporting in a Financial Services setting
- Master’s Degree in Business or Risk Management
- At least 5 years leading cross functional programs for Financial Services organizations
- Bachelor’s Degree or military equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Operational Risk Management for Financial Services organizations
