Job Description:

As the Card Payments Portfolio manager, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of strategic programs for the Inbound Payments team in US Card. In this capacity, you will manage the full lifecycle of program delivery, from intake and refinement to cross-functional delivery and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization to monitor and manage the critical path, plan contingencies, facilitate scope changes, and control resource expenditure
  • Support planning and execution of testing
  • Support large scale programs on behalf of Inbound Payments (e.g., partner conversions, new business ventures)
  • Manage and track intent delivery and critical path milestones across impacted cross-functional teams. Identify dependencies and mitigate upstream and
  • Manage intake and prioritization of strategic intent with our line of business partners, coordinating across job disciplines
  • Build and maintain high trust relationships with partner teams across the Card and Capital One to keep abreast of current strategies and manage work in progress
  • Report on program and feature delivery progress, managing escalations and impediment resolution
  • Maintain governance model to manage the portfolio and facilitate prioritization of most critical initiatives, managing stakeholder community expectations and reporting progress in a digestible manner

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or an advanced certifications (CSM, CPO, SAFE)
  • 4+ years experience in financial services and the consumer credit card industry
  • 5+ years of experience in project, program or portfolio management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years of Project Management experience
