Job Description:

Responsible for affecting change through internal consultancy, planned and ad hoc, supporting the ODCIO to continue the transformation of UK Tech and the wider business. Key focus is on supporting the team on their journey of improving the transparency of the investment portfolio to stakeholders from Board members through to Delivery teams

Job Responsibilities:

• Contributing to the ODCIO roadmap to ensure that we are delivering the right changes for our customers and stakeholders across the business
• Supporting the creation of and providing insight in the preparation of Governance material evolving to cover monthly business performance reviews to quarterly Board and regulatory examinations
• Analysis of Customer and stakeholder needs
• Identifying, documenting specifications and functionality requirements aligned to our Agile Delivery tools and processes which support the management of the UK Technical Investment budget and governance.
• Championing data driven decision making ensuring practices across UK Tech and the wider business are integrated to optimise analysis and insight
• Seeking new opportunities to improve metrics reporting and data visualisation
• Seeking opportunities in the team to share learnings, experience and expertise in your field
• Being the point of contact for UK Tech and Tech Delivery for expert consultancy on data, metrics reporting and analysis

Job Requirements:

• Resilient to change, able to drive to clarity in ambiguous situations and adapt quickly.
• Ability to wear multiple hats within the project. You should be able to act as a Project Manager and Product Owner on certain occasions
• Benefit Analysis – Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of identified benefits analysis and lead on the actions required to include the strengths and work with all parties to remove/reduce the weaknesses identified
• Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to create clear diagrams to help the technical team understand the requirements
• Core Business Analysis Skills
• Investment in understanding our team infrastructure and software
• Self-starter and independent worker. You should be able to work independently to tackle complex problems
• Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach. You should be able to conduct:
• Understanding of Agile development methodology (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Gap Analysis – Evaluate requirements, finding opportunities to develop successful business requirements needed for a successful project delivery
• Data modelling / Data flow experience
• Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects
• A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change
• Excellent communication skills. You should be able to successfully fulfil a ‘customer facing’ role and represent the team
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecyle
