Job Description:

Within this role, the associate will help define, design and oversee internal systems related to data risk governance, facilitate meetings with senior leadership, update division metrics/reporting, provide risk assessment and advisory services related.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assessing the adequacy and quality of risk frameworks to appropriately identify, manage and mitigate data risks
• Risk governance routines for Data initiatives
• Coordinating work between multiple areas and working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Triggering escalation processes when appropriate
• Actively participates in team oriented efforts
• Managing multiple tasks independently to meet deadlines
• Ensuring processes are run in compliance with Enterprise and Operational Risk Management standards
• Project management for Data Risk initiatives (i.e. Priority Usage and Mass Data Quality Monitoring or Third Party Data Sharing and CCPA/Data Privacy)
• Leveraging & influencing business partners to drive results

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience supporting and partnering with internal business clients
• At least 2 years of Financial Services Risk Management Experience with a degree (6 years without degree)
• 1+ year of experience with managing risk related to Priority Usage and Mass Data Quality Monitoring or Third Party Data Sharing and CCPA/Data Privacy is a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
• PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)
• 3 years of Project/Program Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
• 1+ year of building preventive or detective controls
• At least 2 years of Project or Program Management experience (6 years without degree)
