Job Description:

As a Customer Support Representative, you will deliver & enhance customer satisfaction by assisting customers with orders and the timely receipt of product whilst also driving incremental sales with the assigned customer base. Providing technical information, entering and expediting orders whilst handling customer problems with professionalism and diplomacy to deliver an exceptional Customer Experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Management of Outbound Premium Freight
  • Accountability for Managing Customer Orders
  • Ownership of any root cause and corrective action analysis required
  • Responsive at pace to customer queries & required technical support
  • Coordinate and collaborate globally and regionally with supply chain, operations and quality teams
  • Acting as the Businesses initial interface with the Customer ensuring relationships are developed and queries resolved with pace
  • Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.
  • Backorder Management
  • Alignment with global processes
  • Project Support

Job Requirements:

  • Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy are necessary to completing many tasks
  • 2-year college degree or higher education
  • Able to effectively handle problem analysis and making good decisions to solve them in a timely manner
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and general knowledge of Order entry
  • 1+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • A thorough knowledge of company, department, and division policies/procedures
