We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Supervisor to guide a team of Quality Inspectors at our North Little Rock, AR facility, where we make many of the machines that help our customers build a better world. Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure “wall to wall” inspection coverage through visible hands-on team leadership across the Assembly and Machining operations in this more than 700,000 square foot facility.
- Develop and direct a high performing team of Team Leads and Quality Inspectors who validate that our machines meet Caterpillar’s industry leading quality standards through a variety of methods, including visual inspection and audits.
- Collaborate with other functions to support quality initiatives in facility operations, supplier quality, and materials technology.
- Ensure conformity to global quality processes defined in the Caterpillar Quality Management System (QMS) including conformance to specifications of fabrications, purchased material, machined parts and assemblies.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing/operations and/or a quality role.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
