Job Description:

This role is an integral part of Caterpillar’s Integrated Components and Solutions (ICS) Division. The division provides trusted engineering, research, validation and manufacturing services to internal clients, as well as provides technology leadership to the enterprise. This role supports ICS financial management reporting and will participate in projects and initiatives that enhance data and processes utilizing digital tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert providing guidance to resolve engineering time reporting issues
• Implementation of reporting and analysis process improvements using data analytics, visualizations and/or dashboards
• Provide training and support for ICS Research and Engineering forecasting processes
• Analyze ICS service charges and present results to management
• Liaison providing enterprise support to cross-functional teams utilizing budgeting/financial systems
• Maintains data governance of ICS forecasting and reporting tools

Job Requirements:

• 4-year degree in accounting OR any 4-year degree with an accounting certification
• Strong leadership, initiative, inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• 1-2 years of accounting experience
