Job Description:
The Payments Product Manager will support payment infrastructure, offerings and initiates for Global Wealth clients. The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge and experience within the payment industry with a technical understanding of domestic payments within EMEA, international payments and cards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a solid working relationship with the banking & custody team, product partners, control functions and colleagues throughout Citi
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Engagement & execution on strategic business development initiatives
- Engage industry partners on best practice and participate in industry forums
- Product management of payments products
- End to end process owner of payment products
- Manage industry compliance of payment products
- Provide SME support on regulatory, operational , industry and strategic initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Strong initiative and interactive approach
- Experience with SWIFT MT architecture
- Experience with ISO MX architecture
- Ability to quickly adapt to change
- Comfortable in setting the agenda and syndicating support from others to execute
- Experience in debit and credit cards
- Experience in EU domestic payments (SEPA, SEPA Instant Payments)
- Experience in UK domestic payments (BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments)
