Job Description:
The Citi Advisor is an investment licensed, client-facing role, responsible for supporting clients who engage with our Digital and National Investor Center (NIC) self-directed investment programs. These fully licensed individuals are tasked with providing best in class advice, guidance and service for this client group in a way that promotes deepening relationships and promoting high client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Anticipate the complex financial needs of the client base, and offer solutions through a wide range of products, services and tools based on client profiling and suitability assessments
- Provide exceptional support and issue resolution for digital and self-directed NIC Clients, assuming end-to-end ownership for client needs
- Build and maintains relationships with clients, Wealth Teams, Wealth Advisors, and support teams in support of new business, retention, client satisfaction goals, and resolution of client issues
- Assist with the onboarding and account opening for new clients
- Introduce clients to segment partners where appropriate (including but not limited to Citigold Advisors, Citi Priority Advisors, Relationship Managers, and Banking partners
- Leverage business knowledge to determine prudent and appropriate solutions to meet client’s needs by educating client on Citi Personal Wealth Management products and services.
- Understand and be able to describe the Value Proposition for the various Digital and self-directed programs available
- Identify clients appropriate for Citi Wealth Builder consideration, and proactively contacts clients who have started process to discuss client needs and benefits of moving forward
Job Requirements:
- Prior work experience in a related job that would provide a comprehensive understanding of activities, policies, procedures, and concepts of the work area
- Preferred experience and knowledge across multiple functions, to include Banking, Cards, Mortgage, etc.
- Ability to utilize a large number of Bank systems at the highest level of entitlement
- Capable of working independently within established procedures and make decisions without manager approval; must also be a strong team player
- Exceptional ability to find creative solutions for issue resolution
- Insurance license preferred
- Open to receiving continuous feedback in relation to client programs and initiatives
- Ability to support a diverse array of products, financial planning and services
- Bachelor degree or 5 years of role related experience
- Experience and knowledge of investment and banking products, as well as superior networking and soft skills
- Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65) Licenses required
- Strong desire to create high client experience with every client
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
