Job Description:
The Fleet Management Department is seeking candidates who can perform routine mechanical activities to provide required maintenance for vehicles and equipment. Assists in performing a variety of automotive, mechanical and electrical activities to maintain operation of vehicles such as removal/installation of transmissions and repair/installation of brakes.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, add, subtract and follow oral and/or basic written instructions as might normally be acquired through 9 to 11 years of formal schooling.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with the City of Houston’s policy on driving (AP2-2).
