Job Description:
As a credit officer, you will be responsible to review and analyze wealth management related transactions as well as monitor performance of assigned portfolio of accounts. Additional tasks include monitoring counterparty credit limits, maintaining data integrity for all names and transactions in the credit systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure credit approval documentation is consistent with wealth management policies and applicable regulations
- Analyze and recommend approval, declination, or new loan terms for loans extended to high net-worth and/or ultra-high net worth clients – the loans may be secured or unsecured
- Monitor a portfolio of assigned counterparties as well as relevant financial/market developments in cooperation with credit and front office colleagues
- Assist in interactions with and associated on-going reporting requirements for internal/external auditors and regulatory authorities
Job Requirements:
- Credit analysis experience, ideally with part in non-investment grade credit lending

- Good knowledge of a range of commercial banking products and associated documentation, such as IRS, FX, cash management, and trade finance products
- A degree in accounting, finance or economics from accredited college or university (or relevant work experience)
- Solid credit risk analysis skills (commercial real estate and leveraged loan a plus), financial modeling/forecasting, and understanding of derivative structures
