Job Description:
The Regulatory function within the Divisional Control & Regulatory Office (DCRO) is responsible for the oversight of regulatory adherence and engagements across the Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) division. You will be part of a global team playing a key role in the coordination and management of stakeholders across TDI, ensuring critical regulatory requirements are satisfied.
Job Responsibilities:
- Regulatory adherence assessment and advisory – monitor existing and upcoming regulatory rules, perform gap assessments, report, and educate on compliance, and track remedial actions
- Regulatory engagement – provide key support for engagement with the Joint Supervisory Team (JST – ECB, BaFin, Bundesbank) Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), preparing for meetings and formal responses
- Stakeholder engagement – across TDI and other Divisions, including Group Audit, Compliance and Legal, to effectively oversee regulatory adherence and engagements as well as support senior management briefings up to Management Board level
- Incident Reporting – monitor critical technology incidents caused by or impacting TDI, liaising with relevant stakeholders and drafting ad-hoc notifications to the JST, PRA or FCA
- Rule compliance monitoring – set up the Integrated Control Framework through mapping rules to controls and testing their effectiveness
Job Requirements:
- A high attention to detail with proficiency in concise, relevant, and high-quality writing, including clear ownership and accountability
- Strong communicator with experience in engagement across a diverse range of seniority, functions, and jurisdictions
- Knowledge of regulatory activities and conduct oversight of technology operations within a banking environment
- Regulatory or risk and control experience within a banking infrastructure division. Alternatively have a suitable compliance or audit background
- Passionate and results-driven, forward thinker who can work effectively both independently and within a team
