Job Description:

Working closely with the Business, Compliance professionals ensure that our risk-based program is both globally effective and locally anchored to our key divisional businesses.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be the key point of contact on questions from businesses, Operations, Treasury, and Finance on transactions that could create Regulation W risk considerations; engage with various divisions to document and analyze relevant operational process flows and controls across business units
  Develop and implement risk-balanced control monitoring requirements;
• Support the infrastructure divisions and businesses in the implementation of regulatory or policy change initiatives impacting bank regulatory requirements and partner with other compliance functions to assess existing processes and identify control improvements relating to compliance with banking regulations
• Contribute to development and delivery of reporting for senior management group, two key bank Legal Entity Boards, and regulator updates specific to coverage areas;
• Maintain and continuously improve Compliance Programs and related Policies in accordance with relevant regulations and supervisory guidance
• Lead coordination of maintaining specific Compliance policies relating to US banking regulations, and for supporting and monitoring the implementation of those policies; coordinate feedback and sign off from relevant stakeholders for process and/or reporting changes or improvements

Job Requirements:

• Strong time management/project management skillset required
• Ability to engage others in open, honest dialogue and directly address conflict or escalation in an appropriate manner must be demonstrated
• Experience working at a large national or global financial institution, ideally with both a bank and a broker dealer or other non-bank affiliates; solid working knowledge of infrastructure divisions, reporting, and financial services is ideal
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field of study
• Strong skills in influencing, partnering with others, and organizational awareness in a large matrix organization
