Job Description:

As a Senior Strats Engineer, you will be joining a team of developers within the platform strats team which is part of the Strats Analytics Group, working on a business-critical web application built in Kotlin. The team take wide responsibility for all aspects of the technical solution and delivery of business features.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supporting the business through a support rota including investigating queries and issues
• Working closely with Trading, Strats and Quants to understand requirements and deliver robust, reliable and performant solutions
• Performing analysis, design and development of functionality in FUSE using primarily Kotlin
• Tracking delivery of your changes all the way to Production use

Job Requirements:

• Contributing to technical/architectural direction and choice of technologies
• Experienced primarily in Kotlin development but also Angular 11, JSON over HTTP, Spring Boot and MS SQL Server
• Collaborative; enthusiastic to contribute ideas on team development practices
• Experience in automated testing
• Involvement in release planning, testing strategies, and some 3rd-line support
• Interest or experience with Agile and Lean
