Job Description:

You will be the primary contact point for all fixed income production issues; the team has high exposure to work with the front-to-back business teams daily. You will report to the local Fixed Income Production Lead, and in this role you will need to investigate and resolve user & system generated issues across production systems in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strong incident management during incidents to improve recovery time
• Manage the estate of Windows and UNIX application and database servers, with an emphasis on using & refining Geneos monitoring to proactively maintain stability
• Provide subject matter expert (SME) knowledge on rates & credit business and applications to the support and development teams

Job Requirements:

• Disaster recovery planning & testing
• Incident, problem, and change management
• Experience of electronic trading businesses in investment banking with real-time pricing & risk systems
• SL2 technical support
• Experience of supporting applications in a trading floor environment
• Continual service improvement activities
• Relationship management
• Hands on and proficient with UNIX/LINUX/Windows commands
