Job Description:

We are looking for motivated Java developers with a passion for agile practices to join our team. Our technology team provides a platform that allows post trade processing of bond securities, primarily to support the US Rates & Credit Trading desk activities and operational users in North America.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with the Business to create a product with long-term value
• Application management responsibilities
• Involvement in release planning, testing strategies, and some 3rd-line support
• Contributing to technical/architectural direction and choice of technologies
• Writing robust, simple, and well-tested software; Innovation in technologies, tools, and design
• An enthusiastic full-stack developer to join our New York based team, working on a business-critical platform built in Java server-side and React for the front end

Job Requirements:

• Build Tools: Maven & Gradle, Git/Bit Bucket, TeamCity, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Intellij Idea; Infrastructure: hosted: VHS Linux | DHSOv2 | Weblogic/Tomcat, GCP (aspirational)
• Frameworks: React, Spring, Spring Boot, JDBC, Hibernate, Junit, Cucumber (BDD)
• We don’t expect you to be experienced in all software, the role is requiring good Java and Spring Boot
• Application Tech Stack: JAVA 11, React, Kotlin, Python; Database: Oracle (PL/SQL)
• Messaging: JMS (MQ/Solace/Tibco EMS), Data transmission (JSON/XML/Google protobuf)
