Job Description:

Lead and develop team accountable for representing Dexcom, Inc. products to distributor, wholesaler, and retail organizations on a national level. Position will lead the strategic selection and implementation across all aspects of Dexcom partnerships with direct purchasing customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive awareness and education around Dexcom portfolio for national, regional and independent pharmacies and DMEs through promotional efforts with wholesale customers
  • Identify and continuously implement efficiencies in customer partnerships in all areas, including contract management, logistics and distribution, data exchange and processes to maximize profitability
  • Implement retail and distributor pull through programs to increase revenue and drive adoption of Dexcom CGM therapy, inclusive of product launches and discontinuations
  • Negotiate, implement, and manage existing national contracts and pricing agreements to maximize all channel sales and achieve organizational goals
  • Lead team in educating Dexcom organization on US distribution footprint, dynamics and performance, inclusive of action plans to support company goals
  • Attract, retain, and develop talent to support all department responsibilities while contributing a positive contribution to Dexcom company culture
  • Work closely with payer team and Regional Sales Directors to drive pull though of efforts at an executive/top-down level, in partnership with bottoms-up approach by Channel Development team
  • Lead and develop team focused on establishing and developing direct customer partnerships across all sales channels to drive revenue in line with company targets
    Work collaboratively and cross-functionally for ongoing aligned definition of success by channel and customer, supported by measurable goals, metrics and consistent data sources and tools to clearly assess channel and customer health and performance, identifying opportunities to pivot as relevant

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced growth environment, with track record of meeting financial objectives while maintaining agility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to appropriately tailor to various audiences
  • 15+ years relevant experience in a combination of channel sales, account management or similar role within healthcare and/or consumer technologies industries responsible for driving sales and contract management
  • Experience in medical device/supply or pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or distribution preferred; diabetes tech or related cardiometabolic therapy areas a plus
  • Experience working within pharmaceutical and DMEPOS access and reimbursement models across government and commercial channels preferred
  • Experience leading teams of high-performing professional level talent
  • Deep comprehension of industry contractual language, terms, pricing models, and healthcare supply and value chains; full scope comprehension of legislative, regulatory, financial, technical, and operational industry dynamics and challenges
  • Strong financial and analytical acuity
