Job Description:

To support the implementation of the global technology strategy in Glencore copper assets. The role will provide support in the Technology Transformation business function in the roll-out of studies relating to specific technology initiative activities. The role will undertake the implementation activities required to realise the business strategic plan for investment in technology in the Copper commodity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analysis of business cases for technology investment
• Support the development of the Africa technology initiatives from Concept through to Feasibility Studies
• Preparation of reporting for project activities including schedule and cost tracking
• Management of consultant activities on a day to day basis
• Support regional technology lead in the development of asset technology roadmaps
• Engagement of consultants for works initiatives including preparation of scopes, tendering, assessment and award processes
• Engagement with site for progression of the technology initiatives
• Co-ordination with assets and stakeholders on project task delivery
• Work closely with and report to the Manager – Technology Strategy (Africa)
