Job Description:
An exciting career opportunity is currently available for a HSEF Leader! This is a Leadership position within the Health, Safety, Environment and Facilities department of Honeywell Aerospace Yeovil.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure documentation relating to the HSE management system is reviewed annually and is compliant with current legal obligations and current best practice and ensure information is flow down to all interested parties.
- Provide/source relevant training in line with experience to engage the workforce in continuous improvement of site HSE culture and reduce work related accidents and ill health.
- Represent Honeywell at Monthly meetings with Leonardo (Landlord).
- Review the annual HSEF&S Calendar and participate in activities therein.
- Represent the HSE&F function at Site Operating Review (SOR), Tier Meetings, Site Leadership Council, and chair HSEF review meetings.
- Lead and facilitate the sites management of change process (MOC) always ensuring 100% adherence, being the site focal for MOC, following through to completion of individual MOC items.
- Required to own the HSE&F budget and implement Corporate/Aero procedures. Required to produce timely responses and implementation of corrective actions following internal, external and 3rd party audits including maintaining regulatory accreditations.
- Oversee that inspections and risk assessments are conducted as per the annual plan and ensure all priority compliance project milestones are met.
- Take a lead role in completing the annual Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) and Assurance Letter process.
- Take an active part and lead site CI initiatives on energy and waste reduction.
