Job Description:

The Human Resources Department, which forms part of the Shared Services Division, is seeking a dynamic, mature and innovative individual, who possesses advanced HR generalist experience, to strengthen its Human Resources (HR) support team. The team provides professional services to the HSRC staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Resolve HR service-related issues with internal stakeholders;
  • Ensure continuous service delivery to all business units in pursuit of HR objectives;
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in the performance of the HR services;
  • Evaluate and facilitate the functioning of the performance management system and processes;
  • Provide assistance to line managers on work performance matters and sound HR practices;
  • Ensure that conditions of employment and practices comply with salary administration directives;
  • Interact with managers to understand their requirements for HR service delivery;
  • Engage with staff in terms of HR and Labour Relations queries;

Job Requirements:

  • A relevant post-graduate qualification in Human Resources (NQF Level 8);
  • Ability to be proactive and use initiative.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office suite (MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills;
  • 5 to 8 years’ experience as an HR Generalist;
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and extended hours;
