Job Description:

Assists more senior professionals to coordinate and administer a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate in and be responsible for more than one of these areas and perform many of the same activities as professionals that specialize in these individual HR functions
  • Ensure updated with regard to the organization’s collective agreements and individual employment contracts
  • Assist in administration of performance management process
  • Administer the coordination of the On Boarding Program
  • Administer grievance and disciplinary procedures
  • Coordinate or administer various aspects of the organization’s compensation and benefit, recruitment, training, organization development, and employee relations programs
  • Participate in the preparation of employment contracts and offers of the selected candidates
  • With guidance develop project basis work (local policy updated, procedures, employee handbooks etc.)
  • Maintain accurate records for individual employees regarding pay rates, shift details, promotions, transfers and sick leave etc.
  • Administer the staff recruitment and selection process (placing ads, interviewing, processing applications, contacting managers, provide feedback regarding the candidates, handling selection process tests)
  • Keep up-to-date with the employee relations climate in the organization and support actual changes in employee relations regulations, so that the organization’s employee relations policies remain current and relevant
  • Administer exit procedure

Job Requirements:

  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and support change
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of local language and English
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • 3 years HR experience
  • University Degree in Human Resources Management (HRM) or related subject
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have knowledge and experience in Workers Compensation, Benefits Enrollment, Benefit Reconciliation, Employee Relations, Leave of
  • Absence and State and local labor laws
  • Basic knowledge of local labor laws will be considered an advantage
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Access will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and develop relationships
