Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Outlet Manager to join our Food & Beverage department in the Jumeirah Group. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Job Responsibilities:
- Hands on operator that lives and leads the perfect guest experience, ensures the team are set up for success, and is responsible for assisting the OM/ GM in ensuring that all colleagues have full product knowledge.
- Presumes full responsibility of a specific Outlet(s) in the absence of the Outlet Manager
- Makes suggestions to increase the market share for the Outlet.
- Assists the Outlet Manager to manage all aspects of a specific Outlet(s) within the F&B department including the selection, development and performance management of colleagues, optimizing profits and increasing sales.
- Closely monitors the cashiering function of the outlet to ensure compliance with JI Cashiering Procedures.
- Monitors customer satisfaction and respond to customer feedback and complaints ensuring Jumeirah procedures for CSI and Complaint Handling are followed.
- Conducts performance evaluation of colleagues, training of colleagues, guidance, coaching and counselling of colleagues.
- Assists in managing all operational issues ensuring JI & MJs Standard Operation Procedures are met and value is added to the F&B
- Assists in managing scheduled shifts ensuring guest satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Risk/Crisis Management
- Presentation Skills
- Hotel or Hospitality Degree Essential
- Advanced English communications skills (spoken and written)
- Multi Lingual skills
- 1-2 years Food and Beverage Experience needed in a premium Fine Dining Establishment in a 5–star Hotel on a Management level
- Coaching Skills/Training Skills
- Open Minded to new Business Approach
- Interpersonal People skills
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office
- Cashiering Systems (Micros, HSI, other)
