Job Responsibilities:
- Litigation arising from a changing landscape
- Actively participates in a variety of litigation that involves all parts of our business.
- Advising business units on legal risk and preventative measures proactively and consistently offered across the corporation.
- Provides opinions on contract language and legal implications to Xcel Energy operations.
Job Requirements:
- Flexibility and creative thinking
- Leadership ability
- Juris Doctorate degree from ABA accredited law school.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- 6-10 years of practice in corporate law department, law firm, government practice or equivalent legal experience.
