Job Description:
The Public Sector Banking Client Manager serves a full array of state and local governmental entities with commercial banking needs. He/she is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients who need traditional financial services and occasionally customized products to meet their financial needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Client Manager relies on partners to assist in analyzing the client’s financial and operating strategies in order to recommend alternative or additional financial services to best meet immediate and future needs.
- They’re responsible for generating new business, focusing on enhancing existing relationships, and identifying opportunities for improving financial results of the firm throughout this client base.
Job Requirements:
- Strong sales, analytical and financial skills are required.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in banking.
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus OR equivalent years of experience
- Knowledge of credit, treasury services or related public sector experience is a plus.
