Litigation Specialist

Job Description:

Processing of legal documents that may include special cases, high priority, and bankruptcy or escalation requests. Responsible for complying with legal orders which may include document requests or restricting/monitoring accounts after reading and interpreting the legal order. Negotiating deliverables and due dates required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Regular telephone contact with Banking Centers, internal/external attorneys, & government agencies may be required.
  • Maintain Productivity and Quality standards to ensure maximum efficiency of operations.
  • Communication with banking centers, internal/external attorneys, Federal, Customers, State local agencies and out of state agencies is required.
  • Duties include phone support, maintaining case files on internal tracking system and searching customer bank accounts.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with and a deep knowledge of a broad range of legal orders is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and functions simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills. Must be a team player and able to build strong working relations with business partners.
  • Previous legal order processing experience preferred.
  • Able to foster and grow business relationships with different Lines of Business
  • Ability to negotiate and schedule appearances or extensions.
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs.
  • Previous retail banking, operational or analytical experience.
  • Must be detail oriented, an independent thinker, and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills with strong PC and analytical ability.
