Job Description:

The Technology Software Engineer will work with a team of other software developers and network and systems engineers to design, implement, and deploy software which meet customer’s requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The focus of this role is developing and deploying Security solutions on the ServiceNow platform in a fast paced telecom sector.
  • Provide ServiceNow OOB solutions, requirement gathering and then customize the instance as per the need.
  • Technical Writing: Maintains knowledge of existing technology documents. Writes basic documentation on how technology works. Supplies clear documentation for new code and systems used. Documenting systems designs, presentations, and business requirements for consumption at the engineer level.
  • Build and Document remediation processes and workflows for Vulnerability Response.
  • Requires proficiency in customer facing, change & innovation, critical thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.
  • Technical System Expertise: Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits and willingness to study independently. Encouraged to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Be compatible with system engineers to define system requirement and/or vital requirements for automation.
  • Vulnerability Response configuration and design.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to document and articulate technical strategies
  • Experience in cybersecurity incident response
  • Communication: Ensure that information is passed on to others who should be kept advised. Express self clearly in conversations and interactions. Clear business and technical writing skills.
  • Service Now experience both developing solutions and administrating the platform.
  • Analytical: Address a problem by using a logical, detailed, sequential approach.
  • Collaborate and work with security teams, tools, practices, and industry standards such as NIST, SANS, MITRE ATT&ACK, etc.
  • Technical Expertise: The ability to demonstrate depth of knowledge and skill in a technical area.
  • 2+ Years IT/Technical engineering experience
  • Collaboration: Ability and desire to work closely with the team.
  • Customer Focus: The Ability To Demonstrate Concern And Meet External And/Or Internal Customers’ Needs.
  • Dedicated and able to work well under pressure
