Job Description:
The Accelerate Programme Manager will oversee all the projects and programmes to deliver on the targets as set by the Strategy and Transformation office. This includes Planning, Governance and the oversight of the successful delivery of outputs in the approved portfolio.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build relationship with project executive sponsors and/or project owners to ensure speedy resolution of escalations.
- Allocate and manage resources to the programme and across projects
- Produce a future view of the business area impacted by the programmes on the people, systems, structures, culture and processes changes
- Review the existing programmes and launch new programmes aligned to strategic direction, as required
- Understand and articulate the programme sponsor’s strategic direction
- Conduct programme planning, give input into and integrate project plans and monitor programme progress against plan
- Define the programme governance and controls
- Define and confirm the programme scope with relevant stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with internal and/or external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders of projects
Job Requirements:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner is essential
- Proven track record of project and programme delivery is essential
- Minimum 6-8 years’ managing projects end to end using PMBOK/PRINCE2 methodologies is essential
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 3-year degree/diploma in relevant discipline
- A post-graduate management qualification will be advantages
- Agile is essential
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent advantageous
- Minimum 3 years’ managing programmes end to end using PMBOK/PRINCE2 methodologies is essential
- Experience in managing project/programme teams is essential
