Job Description:
The IT PPM Lead is responsible for implementing and provisioning portfolio, programme and project support in the IT Department. To develop, implement and maintain programme and project management structures and tools that will enable effective management and delivery of change programmes and projects across the IT department.

Job Requirements:
- 8 years’ extensive experience in preparing, managing and communicating project-related documentation for Project and Programme Boards and Committees
Knowledge and a good understanding of best practice frameworks, like: TOGAF, EPPM, Prince 2, PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile and Project and Portfolio Management Software (like MS Project) - Bachelor’s Degree (Three Years) or Advanced Diploma or NQF6 in Information Technology / Business Management
- Sufficient level of technical background to accurately and objectively evaluate project risks and issues
- 8 years’ experience in working within an IT Project environment:
- 7 years’ experience in a university environment
- Membership of Special Interest Groups or Similar
- Ability to provide leadership to project leaders and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
