Samancor Careers 2023 – Stores Rotables Coordinator

Job Description:

Participate and comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox). Utilize the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status

Job Responsibilities:

• Marking, preserving and binning of repaired items
• Track items in for repairs
• Tracking the order process to ensure on time delivery
• Send out damaged items for strip and quote and / or repairs
• Liaise with supplier and plant engineers throughout the rotables process
• Monitor condition of rotable stock items in storage
• Receive repaired items and initiate inspection of repaired for quality of repairs with responsible plant official
• Filing of the tracking documents
• Maintain and optimize rotable item stock levels and availability
• Complete and maintain the in-house tracking document
• Inspect items and issue of waybills on a daily basis
• Ensure dispatch/collection of rotable items
• Process documentation on Chrome SAP system
• Maintain the respective data packs and associated files
• Tracking the RFQ process
• Evaluate tenders received and report to Stores Controller
• Receive and control damaged items
• Apply suitable warranties
• Liaise with Plant Engineers on vendor selection
• Upload and maintain rotable item Master Data
• Scrap irreparable items

Job Requirements:

• Higher Certificate (NQF 5 ) or National Diploma (NQF 6)
• SAP / Coupa
• Engineering qualification will be highly advantageous
• Basic SAP PM & MM
• 3 years relevant experience
• Computer literate – Microsoft Office
• Analytical Skills
