Job Description:

The Senior Inventory Analyst oversees inventory related accounting for book to perpetual across multiple Global Supply Chain manufacturing and distribution sites. Utilizing investigative skills, the Senior Inventory Analyst identifies and researches accounting variances with a focus on timely resolution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting quarterly audits and monitoring the progress towards Physical Inventory Elimination for sites participating in the Finished Goods and Raw Material cycle count program
  • Reviewing Monthly Shrink Results for accuracy and assisting sites with root cause analysis on unusual gains and losses
  • Completing Monthly Account Reconciliations and booking month end journal entries
  • Onboarding team members as well as assisting with new site financial analyst training via bootcamp
  • Compiling accurate information for internal and external audit requests
  • Supporting sites in the annual physical inventory process by reviewing policies and procedures and conducting training sessions with field personnel

Job Requirements:

  • Education Required Four-year degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Additional Comments Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, QAD, AOM, EPM and Business Objects preferred.
  • Work experience with account reconciliations and 1-2 years of GSC manufacturing experience also preferred.
  • Travel to GSC manufacturing and distribution sites can be expected.
  • Experience Required 3-5 years of accounting and/or auditing experience with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, EPM and Oracle.
