Job Description:

Financial and strategic management of the various products e.g. product planning, controlling open-to-buy, reviewing weekly & monthly performance

Job Responsibilities:

To monitor in season trade and react accordingly
Ensure agreed KPI’s are met i.e. sales, stock flow, markdowns & IMU
OTB management to ensure product opportunities are capitalized on
Management and implementation of the distribution strategy e.g. analysing store profiles & sales trends, developing promotional & range distribution by store & cluster
Ensure product plan meet location plan targets and correct stock allocations meet sales targets
Management of the range assortments and replenishment

Computer literacy in word, excel and planning systems
Strong business acumen and merchant thinking
A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proven working experience as a Planner 3-5 years at least.
Good organisational and interpersonal skills
3 Year Tertiary institution relevant business diploma or degree
