Job Description:

As a Rostering Agent, your duty is to deliver the Rosters within the area of your responsibility, on time and in high quality, as well as maintaining them until the handover to Operations, as defined by the internal Resource Management Center of Excellence (RM CoE) process. As well, you will be in direct contact via technology with frontline employees, thus professional customer- and service- oriented manners are part of your duties.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Rosters Production (as per defined periods from CH processes)
  • Proactively suggest optimization of Rostering at the area of their responsibility (Station, Department etc)
  • Update the rules within the tools as asked by the Senior Rostering Manager (example: Employee HR and Training information, CLAs conditions etc)
  • Roster Maintenance up until handover to Operations
  • Input in relation to forecasting on future Roster creation
  • Participate in continuous improvement trainings for further building up skills and capabilities in the realm of Rostering and Resource Management in general
  • Provide information in relation to controlling of Rostering KPIs, such as shift change request/complaint/absenteeism
  • Proposal of Improvements related to Rostering Process, Production and Maintenance on Station Level

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the aviation industry, ideally within the aviation ground handling environment preferred
  • Sound IT knowledge on Microsoft Office. Microsoft TEAMS an advantage.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a Roster creation and Roster maintenance role
  • Strong customer orientation and clear understanding of the impact the Rosters have for the Employee’s work-life balance, absenteeism etc, hence understanding quality of the Rosters and their maintenance is paramount
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact and communicate with all members within the RMCoE and with the internal customers, the Stations’ Employees, with credibility and professionalism
  • Open to change and personal development via upskilling trainings related to Resource Management Processes, Applications and Customer
  • Service, whenever deemed necessary from the management and/or the advancement of technology
  • Mandatory: SP-Xpert (also known as “Roster Control” or “GS Rostering”) and Webroster knowledge
  • German: C2, French: minimum B1, English as the corporate and systems language: minimum B1
  • Proactive mentality and resilient personality with a clear focus to achieve targets within given timelines
