Job Description:

As a Sr. Report Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to become a strategic business partner within a team supporting the client relationship focused on our Key and National Accounts. You will use data analytics to identify client health plan expense savings opportunities and make recommendations on solutions that aligns with the organization’s capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultative responses, via web or in person, to clients to help them better understand the health plan and their evolving needs
  • Provide analytical explanations, interpretations, and recommendations for data results
  • Work collaboratively to translate complex data analytics into a meaningful data story
  • Intake reporting requests, understand requestor’s needs / intent, and produce informative, meaningful and actionable results

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of financial, analytical or data manipulation
  • 3+ years of experience preparing reports.
  • Adaptable to work independently and in a group setting to achieve overall departmental goals
  • Dedication to make continuous improvements in all areas of responsibility
  • Team player and strong ability to work with other disciplines across the company
  • Client/Customer experience and/or building client relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy (specifically focused on calculations, interpretation, and presentation)
  • Ability to work productively and proactively in a dynamic, fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Knowledge of PBM, Pharmacy claims, and benefit structure
  • Moderate skills in Microsoft Excel (i.e. V-lookups, pivot tables and conditional formulas) and Power Point
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Health Administration, Nursing
  • Analytical thinker, with ability to quickly grasp complex issues and problem solve
  • Medical Coding Certification (through AAPC or AHIMA)
  • Solid organizational skills to track requests and deliverables, and meet deadlines
