Job Description:
You will be part of a team working on visionary research to address current engineering challenges facing our society and outstanding teaching that guides the development of creative and critically thinking engineering graduates in a dynamic learning environment.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in teaching at tertiary institutions
- Demonstrated ability to attract external research funds
- Successful supervision of MSc and PhD students
- Registered as a Geomatics Professional with the SAGC or eligible for such registration
- Strong interest in the mathematical and analytical aspects of Geomatics
- A PhD in Land Surveying / Geomatics or allied discipline
- A current and sustained research publication record in peer-reviewed ISI/DoHET accredited journals appropriate for the level of appointment
