Job Description:
The successful candidate will be expected to add strength to the School’s teaching programmes in molecular genetics, genomics and bioinformatics, while actively contributing to research in an aligned field.
Job Requirements:
- A current and sustained research record of relevant publications in high quality peerreviewed ISI-accredited journals appropriate for the level of appointment
- Successful supervision of postgraduate students (MSc and/or PhD) in a relevant field of study
- A PhD degree in Genetics or related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to attract external research funds
- Experience in teaching at a tertiary institution
