Job Description:
TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Finance, Record to Report team for Local Media. This candidate will be involved in all aspects of the monthly accounting close process. This is a great career opportunity to become and be part of a dynamic, vital and friendly team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare Bank Reconciliations for several accounts and prepare necessary journal entries
- Prepare various general ledger account analyses in Excel by reviewing transactions within the general ledger to ensure accurate activity within the account
- Assist in the monthly closing process by preparing and uploading journal entries
- Assist in the preparation of Financial package by preparing reports for various budget vs. actual schedules so that management can analyze company performance
- Prepare and maintain recurring entries
- Assist in preparation of the Quarterly FLUX analysis book
- Assist in gathering support for the audit requests and other projects
Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with team
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment, handling multiple tasks
- 3+ yrs. Accounting experience
- Strong verbal and analytical skills required with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively
- Problem solving and priority setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong PC Skills with moderate knowledge of Excel
- Bilingual: Fluency in Spanish and English (read and write)
