Job Description:

This is a key position in Univision’s ad solutions strategy and growth and will be is responsible for establishing, negotiating and developing media and partner relationships with 3rd party publishers, DSPs, SSPs and other media buying platforms, with an emphasis on CTV. This role will also lead a team of programmatic buyers and play an integral role in expanding the programmatic operations team though programmatic offerings and creating best practices in the process to maximize yield for Univision.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership and be a programmatic subject matter expert for Univision as it relates to media planning discussions and setting the tone and for the team on media buying and planning
  • Manage publisher and DSP payments
  • Develop and manage media buying platforms and publisher partners from campaigns and ensure optimization strategy, insights, pacing and quality control of inventory to ensure optimal delivery, performance and revenue goals
  • Maintain relationships with platform partners to keep current on new products, new features, pricing, and innovation
  • Build & manage a high performing team of in-house media buyers to manage programmatic campaigns and collaborate with Media Sales, Strategy, Analytics and Yield teams to ensure campaigns are structured in a way to produce optimal data and performance outputs
  • Work with internal teams for all technical aspects related to tagging and reporting
  • Effectively communicate to internal stakeholders daily, weekly, and monthly trends that impact revenue
  • Negotiate Private Marketplace Deals with publishers
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance daily
  • Review inventory quality against required KPIs daily
  • Through their team work to identify opportunities from DSPs and Publishers that reaches our target audiences while maximizing yield

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience required
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with programmatic optimization reporting, tactics, and understanding of sales & marketing funnel KPIs
  • Detail oriented and keen problem-solving abilities
  • 3+ years of programmatic media-buying a/o digital media and client services experience
  • Advanced analytics and optimization capabilities
  • 1+ years working directly with a major media buying platform (DSPs)
