Job Description:
Univision Communications, Inc is seeking a Dev Ops Product Manager in the Product and Technology organization with experience building, optimizing, and scaling video streaming services to millions of consumers to help build innovative digital experiences that empower and entertain the Hispanic community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, and managing internal stakeholder communications
- Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work
- Maintain thorough understanding of products and present complex technological concepts clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Utilize DevOps principles to create flow, make work visible, shorten feedback loops, find problems earlier and drive learning.
- Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and facilitate project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects
- Understand the product from the end user POV; identify key pain points and experience opportunities; ensure insights are carefully considered in prioritization.
- Organize and engage in usability testing to define detailed interaction flows.
- Analyze and interpret data for use in decision making and report on key product metrics.
- Evangelize Lean disciplines to minimize waste and maximize speed of value to end user and business.
- Anticipate the need to bring cross-functional teams together to solve problems.
Job Requirements:
- You have the presence and experience necessary to influence and partner with senior level audiences and comfort with Boards and C-level executives.
- Ability to validate solutions and work efficiently under pressure, drive projects to completion and meet deadlines.
- Product Management experience and technical understanding of software development lifecycle in Lean/Agile/DevOps environments.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience building growth products.
- Experience working in an environment of automated testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and desire to address highly complex problems, systems, and interactions.
- You possess unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
