Job Description:
Univision is seeking a talented and experienced Producer based in Miami. The successful candidate needs to execute timing of live shows and interviews and make last minute decisions. The candidate must be a strong writer in both the Spanish and English language, must be able to field produce and travel on short notice during breaking news coverage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and develop original content for program
- Book interesting guests for the shows as needed
- Manage line production for live or taped show
- Research, write and produce new stories
- Work closely with Talent in the production of the program
- Work closely with executive producer on developing the rundown of the program
Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of INews.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as segment producer for live news program or line producing capacity, with demonstrated ability to work in a control room
- Detail oriented with strong organization skills
- Bilingual in English/Spanish verbal and written skills
- PC proficient (Microsoft Office)
- Strong research and writing skills
- Strong understanding of Hispanic market, specifically within Entertainment
- Strong creative vision and have good editorial judgement
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
