Job Description:
Customer Counter is a “Will Call” center that holds packages for UPS customers for five working business days. the Customer Counter is a customer facing facility that is open 6 days a week. Mon-Fri 8am to 8pm and Saturdays 10am to 1pm. Aside of holding will call packages, many skills are needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Check emails daily
- Complete Conveyor Securing and Guard Inspection daily report
- Cash control/ monthly cash turn in
- All other duties, tasks, complete as needed
- Tasks all evening employees with end of day duty responsibilities
- Complete end of day reports daily
- Train and hire new employees (contingent and UPSers)
- Handle customers concerns and resolve
- Post employees weekly schedule
Job Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Proper shipping procedures/ understanding i-ship/ cash control/ credit card maching and printing lables
- Understanding Haz-Mat materials
- External customer service skills
- Problem solver and quick decision maker
- Ability to lead and train employees
- Patience with staff and customers
- Multi-task and ability to work quick under pressure and efficiently
- Ability to use DIAD boards
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Basic Computer skills
