Job Description:
The primary purpose of the Administrative Officer: IT Procurement (ICS) role is to be responsible for systemic execution of procurement processes and procedures and also act as a primary contact for Service Desk calls. The role is also responsible for liaising with the external vendors, clients, the finance and procurement departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Writing reports and data correlation,
- Vendor engagement,
- Ensuring proper control and recording of stock/equipment issued,
- Adhering to policies and procedures,
- Filing of related documentation,
- Co-ordinating maintenance of ICT equipment,
- Ensuring proper stock/equipment levels are maintained,
- The procurement of ICT equipment,
- Cost-effective purchasing of products,
Job Requirements:
- 2–3 years’ experience in a procurement environment,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in stock control,
- Effective organising ability,
- Good computer skills (entire ms office),
- A senior certificate (grade 12),
- Effective planning and organisational abilities,
