Job Description:
Perform complex activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts, developing financial statements and regulatory reports
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct governance and oversight activities, including creating and implementing controls to ensure data accuracy, documentation of processes, development of appropriate tests, and resolution of issues
- Perform daily invoice review to ensure appropriate accounting treatment is applied to technology related invoices
- Develop and apply technical accounting knowledge in areas including accounting for software maintenance, software license, cloud computing, etc.
- Review and monitor Reg W transactions for appropriateness. Complete monthly and quarterly Reg W reporting and analysis
Job Requirements:
- SEC/Regulatory reporting
- Knowledge and understanding of IFRS International accounting standards
- 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills
- Experience with financial reporting under regulatory, GAAP and/or SEC guidelines with demonstrated ability to apply such guidelines
- An active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Knowledge and understanding of technology accounting
- A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
- Experience with Alteryx or Power BI
